Make Music Fairfield Is Music Performed By Anyone, Enjoyed By Everyone!
2025 marks the 8th year that Fairfield has celebrated Make Music Day. This year, there will be over 150 performers, 29 venues, and 95 performances over the course of the 14-hour festival day. Let’s ring in the summer solstice together, as a community, while enjoying superb music!
Make Music Day is the free, outdoor music festival celebrated worldwide on the Summer Solstice each year. This year, the solstice falls on Saturday, June 21. Created in Paris, France in 1982, Make Music Day, or “Fête de la Musique”, has grown to more than 2,000 cities, making it the globe’s largest music event. Make Music Day features music of all styles and is open to anyone who wishes to participate. Performances take place in parks, sidewalks, town squares, beaches, front porches and parking lots. Each performance throughout the day is completely free and open to the public. Everyone is invited to join the fun.
This is Make Music Fairfield’s 8th year and is Connecticut’s largest festival.
