Greenfield Hill Farmers Market Season Begins May 17

The Greenfield Hill Farmers Market season will begin this Saturday, May 17 and run through Saturday, October 25th. The market will take place every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 75 Hillside Road in Fairfield. Attendees can expect a number of returning farmers, vendors, and artisans as well as a few new ones this season.

This year, each week from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., the Fairfield Public Library will hold a story hour for the younger market attendees. The library’s teen volunteers will have a few new books each week to share with the kids. Please be sure to bring a blanket or towel to use during the story hour, which will take place on the green.

“We are looking forward to another market season and are excited about our new partnership with the Fairfield Public Library,” said Ed Bocchino, owner of Lexington Home and Garden. He added, “Be sure to stop in and visit the merchants of Greenfield Hill Commons, either before or after your weekly farmers market shopping.”
