Fairfield Arts Commission to Host Community Conversation

Fairfield Arts Commission to Host Community Conversation

The Town of Fairfield’s Arts Commission invites all artists, creatives and interested members of the public to take part in a “Community Conversation on the Arts”, which will be held on Saturday, April 27th from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon in the Warehouse at the Fairfield Theatre Company, located at 70 Sanford Street in Fairfield.  The doors will open at 9:45 a.m. for sign-in and informal networking.  Coffee and light refreshments will be provided.

At this facilitated workshop, attendees will have the opportunity to speak with members of the newly formed Arts Commission, take part in roundtable discussions centered on how best to stimulate and foster the arts in Fairfield, and to learn more about the Commission’s plans moving forward.  Fairfield Arts Commission Chair Charlie MacDonald remarked, “The Commission is excited to host this event and looks forward to this opportunity to engage with and hear from artists as to ways in which the Town can create a more vibrant and flourishing arts community.”  The program is free of charge, but advanced registration is strongly encouraged as space is limited.  To register, please go to https://bit.ly/3vAmq3Q.
